About Dickinson API
The Dickinson Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (API) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the oil and gas industry in our region. Comprised of service-minded individuals, our mission extends beyond industry advocacy to fostering meaningful community engagement. Through fundraising initiatives, we provide scholarships to deserving students, promote educational opportunities, and support programs that enhance local development. The Dickinson API is proud to make a lasting impact in the community we live in, work in, and care deeply about.
Become a Member
Membership in the Dickinson API is open to anyone involved in the oil and gas industry or related fields. Annual membership dues are $40 and can be paid online or at monthly meetings.

Monthly Meetings
Join the Dickinson API board and members each month for an evening of networking, dining, socializing, and an industry speaker.
Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except from May through August and in December.
Events
Dickinson API hosts and participates in various events throughout the year to foster industry networking and community involvement. Events include golf tournaments, a Christmas party, a gumbo cook-off, a trap shoot, and Bakken at the Ballpark Night!
Scholarships
The Dickinson API Memorial Scholarship is an annual program supporting deserving local students. Each active API member may sponsor up to two scholarship applicants.
